Service Description

The B2 First for Schools (FCE for Schools) exam is an advanced English exam in the Cambridge English Examination Programme, specifically designed for young people who want to demonstrate their English language skills at an intermediate to advanced level. The B2 First for Schools exam consists of four parts: Reading and Applied English, Writing, Listening and Speaking. 1. Reading and Applied English: In this part, candidates must understand different types of texts such as newspaper articles, advertisements and narratives. They must also use grammatical structures and vocabulary correctly. The focus is on understanding and using language in different school and everyday contexts. 2. Writing: Students must complete two writing tasks that involve writing texts such as essays, letters, reports or reviews. The focus is on the ability to write clear, well-structured texts on various topics, including those from the school environment. 3. Listening: The listening test assesses the understanding of spoken English in various contexts, such as conversations, lectures and radio broadcasts. Candidates must demonstrate that they are able to understand specific information and the main points. 4. Speaking: In the oral part of the exam, you will have a conversation with the speaking examiner and another candidate. You will have to discuss various topics, exchange views and put forward arguments. The focus is on the ability to speak fluently and spontaneously and to express your own opinion. The B2 First for Schools exam aims to document advanced language skills and give you the opportunity to use your English in academic and social contexts. Successful graduates receive an internationally recognized certificate confirming their language skills at the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This exam is also an ideal complement to the vocational high school diploma and is suitable as preparation for a stay abroad and for application purposes at companies or many educational institutions.
